5 things · all actually being used this week
Hi friend!

We are fully in the stretch of summer where we're outside from breakfast until bedtime, and I've mostly stopped fighting it. Which means the things I reach for right now are the ones that make eating well take zero extra effort.

Here are five that have earned their spot.

Mini chicken and maple sticks, 5 grams of protein and 35 calories each. Our toddler asks for them by name, and I am not about to talk him out of a protein snack! No cooler required, which is why they've ended up in every beach bag, car console, and stroller pocket we own → shop it here
Every muffin on the blog now gets baked in this pan. The ceramic coating means they actually release instead of leaving half of themselves behind, and cleanup is a rinse. If you bake protein muffins, you know they run stickier than regular ones because of the cottage cheese and yogurt, so this one earns its keep fast → shop it here
Micronized creatine monohydrate, one scoop, no flavor and nothing else added. I stir mine into water or my morning coffee and don't think about it again. One tub is 100 servings, which makes it easily the cheapest habit on this list → shop it here
I spill. At this point it's less a habit and more a personality trait. This one is stainless on the outside with a real glass insert inside, so nothing tastes metallic, and the sip lid means a bump on the patio table doesn't turn into a whole situation. I use it for iced coffee just as often → shop it here
You know I develop our recipes so they never need protein powder, and that isn't changing. But I do drink it, and this is the one I've stuck with. Brownie batter, 20 grams of protein, shaken into iced coffee most mornings. It's not chalky and there's no fake sweetener aftertaste, which is more than I can say for the tubs I gave up on → shop it here
