A bowl of bang bang salmon with bang bang sauce and veggies.

Hi friend!

Salmon might be my favorite weeknight shortcut! It cooks in minutes, it's about as versatile as protein gets, and these air fryer bang bang bites are the recipe I keep coming back to.

Crispy cajun salmon, a creamy homemade bang bang sauce (it's secretly Greek yogurt!), and a pile of fresh veggies over rice. I think it might taste even better than takeout!

why I love cooking with salmon

A 4oz filet lands somewhere around 22g of protein, so it's an easy way to build a filling dinner fast. And it's not just protein! Salmon is one of the best whole-food sources of omega-3s, plus B12 and selenium.

When I'm buying, I try to reach for salmon that's certified sustainably raised. Frozen filets are honestly my go-to. They thaw in a bowl of cold water while I make the sauce, and no one can tell the difference!
